Dr. Martin Haran is Professor of Real Estate and Urban Studies at the Belfast School of Architecture and the Built Environment, Ulster University, United Kingdom. His expertise spans real estate investment, urban development, housing markets, infrastructure planning, and the financial performance of the built environment.

Over the past two decades, Dr. Haran has published extensively and collaborated with governments, industry bodies, the European Union (EU), and leading international real estate organisations to deliver evidence-based insights that inform policy, strategy, and investment decisions.
