GREMI (Ganesh Real Estate Management Institute) was founded as part of the Mahamati Skill and Education Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit company. The foundation and vision of this institution are deeply rooted in its association with Ganesh Housing Limited, a respected developer with over four decades of industry experience. Under the guidance of visionary leaders like Mr. Shekhar G. Patel (National President of CREDAI), the main objective of GREMI is to systematise and professionalise real estate training throughout the country. With plans for growth on the horizon, GREMI aims at becoming a distinguished real estate management university in India.

The programme offers more than just a run-of-the-mill real estate certificate course, India.

As the Indian real estate market is set to reach a valuation of $5.8 Trillion by 2047, it needs extremely skilled individuals to deal with the issues of institutional capital, regulatory framework, and technology integration. While most institutions offer a regular real estate management course or an introduction to real estate property management course, what the market demands is a real estate management school that would help to change the functional paradigms and create a pool of real estate leaders of tomorrow.

The faculty structure at GREMI is headed by the Director General and CEO - Dr. Anil Kashyap (Former Vice Chancellor, NICMAR University, PhD from Ulster University, UK). The key personnel comprise the likes of Mr. Deepak Sanan (Land and Regulation Tracks), Sarthak Bagchi and Dr. Shailesh Gandhi. Dr. Prashant Das (Associate Professor of Real Estate, Prashant Das) serves as Chairperson of the Academic Advisory Board. The combination of global-level academics and public administration brings it to become a standard for all real estate management courses, India.

Yes. GREMI places strong emphasis on global exposure in property management courses, unlike conventional programmes that remain locally focused. Students undergo a two-week International Immersion Programme, gaining first-hand experience of global best practices, industry environments, and cross-cultural learning.

Definitely. The education system used at GREMI is based on the concept of learning by doing. Fund managers, consultants from RERA, real estate developers, and experts from the industry work hand in hand with GREMI to deliver lectures and mentor students while teaching fieldwork. This leads to the best real estate course India has to offer.

At GREMI City Campus, state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities have been created to align with leading institutions around the world. These include high-tech hybrid classrooms, data analysis laboratories, and libraries with real estate resources. While regular property management courses are conducted from training centres, GREMI offers an upscale learning facility that is ideal for executives.

Yes, the GREMI campus is easily accessible from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and well connected via rail networks in Ahmedabad, along with strong local and national road connectivity. Since the PGCM follows a flexible learning program, students who wish to pursue more than a basic diploma in real estate management can easily reach the campus for the intense residential sessions without compromising their career in other cities.

By 2026, the real estate sector has evolved into one of the largest employment generators in India, driven by rapid urban growth, expanding market valuation, and a highly regulated ecosystem under the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). Emerging trends such as Real Estate Investment Trust (REITs), PropTech, data-led decision-making, and sustainable development are reshaping the industry at every level.

Today, real estate is no longer limited to traditional property transactions. A modern real estate property management course must reflect the industry’s multidisciplinary nature, bringing together professionals from finance, engineering, technology, management, architecture, design, law, and sustainability. Organisations now seek individuals with specialised, interdisciplinary expertise across urban development, asset management, and PropTech analytics.

The term 'Green Real Estate' refers to properties built using energy-efficient materials, environmentally friendly building practices, and sustainable construction processes to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings. With the world's investors willing to pay higher prices for sustainable projects, GREMI has included an ESG-Driven Curriculum throughout all courses, enabling students to explore green real estate courses, manage climate risk, and enhance asset resilience through sustainable design.

It is designed to serve both equally. The blend of the teaching method serves well for working professionals who can take up leadership positions without quitting their current jobs. It is an easy route for freshers to get into enterprises. It serves best for those people who desire an advanced course in real estate management in India, which adds more value than a typical diploma in real estate management.

The PGCM programme is a one‑year, AICTE‑approved certificate course, while a traditional MBA in India usually spans two years and awards a degree. PGCM is highly beneficial for professionals looking to optimise their current performance, those aiming to step up as sharp leaders for tomorrow’s built environment. As a focused real estate management course in India, it ensures faster completion and sharper career outcomes compared to the broader MBA path.

No, previous experience in the field is not necessary. The course syllabus is designed to cater to both those with experience and newcomers. Though there are real estate courses for beginners, the foundations offered by GREMI in Term 1 ensure that all students have a basic knowledge of property law, accounting, and the industry before proceeding to higher-level courses.

There are various issues that conventional real estate companies experience owing to the siloed structure created among the departments. The cross-functionality provided through the postgraduate programme of GREMI eliminates such an issue. This holistic view equips students with decision-making capabilities that would not be covered in any general real estate management course.

Yes, the programme includes an International Immersion Programme that lasts two weeks. It enables students to learn about international asset management strategies, the development of sustainable cities, and global proptech models to ensure that their skills are internationally compatible.

The hybrid delivery format has been designed in a manner that takes into account the tight schedules of professionals. The blend of online virtual classrooms with residential programs ensures that the course of postgraduate studies is pursued without affecting one’s profession. It makes it very easy for people who wish to study real estate courses in Ahmedabad.

The entrance of GREMI into the field is a notable achievement in the professionalization of the built environment industry in India. The fact that GREMI concentrates only on real estate and infrastructure has filled in the void of formal business training for such fields. Hence, GREMI emerges as the best real estate management institute, India.

It is very important. Property development in modern times entails elaborate processes like RERA, multi-million capital, and sustainable development. Whereas a standard real estate developer course may teach only basic rules, GREMI’s detailed syllabus prepares competent graduates on Day One itself, which saves time for developers.

GREMI graduates would come with many corporate competencies that can be immediately applied to the development company. The competencies include financial modelling for capital assets, market research based on data analysis, and knowledge of urban land legislation and ESG guidelines. These strategic management competencies are very useful and worth more than real estate course fees.

Absolutely! Corporate education involving multi-disciplines is what it takes to dismantle functional silos. The interaction of experts from various disciplines such as law, engineering, and finance, through advanced education, leads to effective collaboration when making decisions, unlike simple real estate property management courses.
