Mr. Dhruv Patel is a second-generation entrepreneur whose leadership reflects determination, vision, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Hailing from a family with a distinguished legacy of pioneering businesses, he has successfully combined his business acumen with a strong educational foundation to build and diversify multiple enterprises.
Mr. Patel holds a postgraduate qualification in International Marketing Management from Middlesex University, London. He has also completed the Family Business Programme at Harvard University and holds a Diploma in Fashion Designing and Garment Manufacturing from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
As the Managing Director of Shri Ami Corporation, Ahmedabad’s oldest organised real estate company, established in 1960, Mr. Patel has worked alongside his father to oversee the development of more than 40 projects spanning over five million square feet across 21 locations in Ahmedabad. Their pioneering contributions include the city’s first high-rise residential building, Ankur Bungalows, and the introduction of twin-bungalow developments.
Mr. Patel is also the Managing Partner of EMWE Strategies LLP, a strategic investment platform focused on creating high-yield real estate investment opportunities. The firm combines deep industry expertise, market insight, extensive experience, and a disciplined investment approach to deliver long-term value for investors.
In addition, he leads Diamond Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd., a company with over four decades of experience in the trading and export of textile products. Under his leadership, the company has established a strong international presence across more than 30 countries.
Mr. Patel has held several prominent leadership positions within industry bodies. He currently serves as Vice President of CREDAI Gujarat and is the Immediate Past President of CREDAI Ahmedabad (GIHED). He also serves as a Director of Rajpath Club, Ahmedabad. Previously, he was an Invitee Member of the Policy Advocacy Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Gujarat, and an Invitee Member of the Real Estate Committee of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI). He has represented India on two occasions at the Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (YEA) G20 Summit, held in China (2018) and Saudi Arabia (2020).
Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Patel is an accomplished sportsperson with a passion for billiards and cricket, having represented Gujarat at the national level. An avid traveller, he enjoys exploring diverse cultures, cuisines, trekking, and adventure activities. He also finds inspiration and tranquillity in nature.
