Dr. Masaki Mori is an Associate Professor at EHL Hospitality Business School and an internationally recognised scholar in real estate and hospitality finance. He holds a PhD in Business Administration, specialising in Real Estate, from Georgia State University, United States, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Management from Keio University, Japan. Prior to pursuing an academic career, he held a management position at Nomura Asset Management, Japan, where he developed credit risk models that supported investments exceeding JPY 100 billion.

Dr. Mori has held several academic leadership positions, including Associate Dean of the Graduate School of International Management at the International University of Japan, and Programme Director at both the National University of Singapore and the University of Reading. He is Co-Editor of the Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management, serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Real Estate Research and the Journal of Property Investment & Finance, and currently serves as an External Examiner at University College London.

Dr. Mori is the recipient of several teaching awards, including university-wide and school-level teaching excellence awards at the National University of Singapore. He was also awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements.
