Abhinash Mishra is an economist specialising in computational economics and quantitative finance. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. His research explores financial networks, inequality and income mobility, risk dynamics in banking, and the policy implications of machine learning and emerging technologies in finance.

His work has been published in leading journals such as Quantitative Finance, The Journal of Economic Inequality, and the Journal of Corporate Finance. It has also been presented at prestigious conferences, including those organised by IGIDR and ISI Delhi.

He teaches core and elective courses in Macroeconomics, Behavioural Economics, and Computational Economics, while developing new offerings on algorithmic monetary policy and AI-assisted financial modelling.
